about us
Who are we?
We exist to transform the world’s approach to absence and to change how organisations and their people experience it.
Transforming absence for organisations worldwide.

We all need time off whether it’s to recharge or recover. Yet absence can be tricky and painful for organisations to manage and understand.
People should be encouraged to take the appropriate leave. We help make those experiences positive from the start, and we can help support people to come back recharged, refocused and recuperated.
That’s why we have a laser focus on absence. We make it better for HR, payroll, finance, managers, and employees.
We already help organisations to understand absence and its impact on employees and the company. But we’re restless. We want to help them unearth insights that drive healthier and more productive workforces.
Our Values

We are industry leaders – we do it best! This mindset means we are always striving for innovation and continuous improvement, so we remain at the forefront of leading absence and leave management technology.

We all have a voice at edays! We empower each other to achieve – we listen, we collaborate, we recognise everyone’s contribution and celebrate the successes of individuals and the bigger team.

Energy is the fuel of our work – we bring enthusiasm and passion, we take responsibility, we keep focused and we have fun as we deliver great results.

We are proud to make a positive impact for our customers and their employees, the industry, our company and the communities we serve. We will listen and collaborate with colleagues, customers, stakeholders and the industry, and use our expertise to deliver real benefits.

We share a sense of belonging – of being accepted, valued, and included at edays. We welcome everyone’s uniqueness and appreciate the value we all contribute to our success.
Our Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Statement

At edays we are committed to growing and running our business in a way which integrates environmental, social and good governance practices into our operations. We aim to help the environment, support diversity, inclusion and equal opportunities, and make ethical business decisions.

We focus on 6 ESG pillars: Climate, One Planet, Supply Chain, People, Customer and Community, and Leadership.
These pillars provide a framework to focus our action and track our progress on our journey to become carbon negative by 2025.
As of 2023, all of our business operations are carbon neutral. We have sequestered 83 tonnes of carbon from the atmosphere – offsetting our office and operational carbon footprint for 2022 and 2023, including carbon produced from employees travelling to and from work.

Our employees are key in identifying and delivering a more sustainable workplace, and over the last three years we have trained many of our team in Carbon Literacy and Carbon Reduction.
To achieve our next goal of becoming carbon negative, we plan to implement further carbon reducing and offsetting incentives for all of our people, travel, office and home working environments over the next two years.

As a business we are proud to support our chosen charity for 2023, Compass, in their efforts to provide health and wellbeing services to children, young people, adults, families and communities across the UK.
We ensure our people policies and procedures support our aim of a diverse and inclusive workplace, and our benefits are tailored to supporting the health and wellbeing of our employees.
