    Annual leave

    After serving for one year in a role, employees get 14 days’ paid leave a year. If they stay in the same role for 5 years, their annual leave allowance grows to 18 days’ paid leave a year.

    Sick leave

    There are no statutory laws governing sick leave or sick pay in the Dominican Republic. As for parental leave, mothers can take up to 14 weeks of paid maternity leave, and fathers can take up to 2 days.
