    Annual leave

    Employees in Panama cannot work more than 3 hours of overtime in a day, nor can they work more than 9 hours of overtime in a week. Overtime is banned outright in cases where an employee’s work is deemed dangerous. Employees get 30 days’ annual leave after their first year of employment

    Sick leave

    Panama workers are entitled to 18 days’ paid sick leave.

    Maternity and paternity leave

    Women can take 14 weeks of maternity leave at full pay. And though there are no laws regarding shared parental leave, fathers in Panama can take up to 3 days of paid paternity leave after birth.
