Annual leave
The longer an employee spends in a role, the more paid annual leave they get. After 1 year in a role, they get 12 days’ paid leave a year. This extends to 18 days after 5 years in a role and 30 days after 10 years in a role.
Maternity and paternity leave
Women get up to 18 weeks of maternity leave. If they have multiple births, they receive 30 additional days’ maternity leave per child. There are no laws for shared parental leave, but new fathers can take 2 weeks of paid paternity leave.
