    Records and Recycle Bin

This area allows for administrators to create, delete, and modify requests that have been made by users

    Description

The records section list all the leave, absence, overtime/TOIL, buy/sell and carry over request for all users. This area allows for administrators to create, delete, and modify requests that have been made by users. Notifications are not sent out from this area, so these changes can be made without the user being notified.

This video covers how you can add, modify, or delete all leave, absence, overtime/TOIL, buy/sell and carry over request for all users’ requests; and will show you how to recover users and requests if you have deleted something by accident.

    Example Configurations

Sal is a new administrator at Pallas Accountants. Emma, one of his members of staff is currently pregnant and expects to commence her maternity leave at the end of the month. Seven days before the expected start date of her maternity, Emma is isolating due to testing positive for COVID-19. Initially Emma thought she had a cold, so the absence was reported on the system as sickness. Pallas Accountants set up COVID as a separate instance of absence in an effort to report on how it has impacted their workforce. Sal is new to the edays system. After initially reporting Emma’s absence as a standard sickness absence, he needs to amend the reason to COVID. Using the system, he makes this amendment. After Emma is finished with isolation, her maternity leave starts. Sal misunderstands instruction from senior management and deletes the absence related to COVID and amends the start date of maternity to the first day she was absent. After realising his mistake, Sal changes the maternity back to the original start date and recovers the deleted COVID absence which enables Emma’s absence to appear within stats about COVID for the company.
