edays Wrapped: HR resources to take with you into 2025
The new year is here, so we wanted to share our catalogue of HR resources to take with you into 2025.
Last year we produced 8 completely free, downloadable eBooks, reports and checklists for HR leaders around the world.
Here’s a taster of what we covered – from pawternity leave and UK productivity challenges, to employee benefits in a hybrid world and lots more besides…
Our most popular downloads

Our most popular eBook from 2024 was The Absence Files – which gives a fascinating insight into how sickness absence, leave, happiness and productivity levels compare across 18 different European countries.
What are the secrets behind the countries that experience high productivity, plenty of happiness, and low sickness rates?
Just how many different types of leave are there?
We named at least one type of leave for every letter of the alphabet!
Dive into the HR Leader’s A to Z of Leave Policies and discover dozens of different types – from regional and country-specific leave entitlements, to the more creative, ‘out there’ types aimed at employee wellbeing and lifestyle.
What’s the state of absence in the UK and beyond?
With new statistics every year, and a continuously changing work environment (especially since the COVID-19 pandemic), absence remains a big topic in the world of HR.
So what is the UK’s current sickness absence rate? Is long-term sickness absence rising? What can employers do to better manage their employees’ absences, and even reduce them?
That’s what we explore in our State of Absence Report 2024, which covers all the key figures you need to know heading into 2025.
We hope you enjoy exploring our full library of resources, and you can download all 8 of our 2024 HR resources below.
New year, new features
In 2024, edays released a host of new features to its attendance management system.
We launched our Time Tracking software, which provides the ability to clock in and out via desktop and mobile app, submit online timesheets, assign working hours to specific projects and clients, track overtime, and more.
Our new Workflow Builder allows you to create completely customisable and flexible workflows, so you can automate what were once manual admin tasks. Need to remind employees to use their remaining leave entitlement, or complete their timesheets? Set up workflows to do just that. Want to be alerted if more than 3 team members have requested leave at the same time? Automatically decline their requests, and set up an email which explains the reason why.
There really are endless possibilities to the workflows you can create, which can help to completely automate your absence, leave and working time management processes.
We’ve also made a raft of improvements to our existing modules, reporting capabilities, and mobile app, making our software even more intuitive and functional than before.
Much of this product development was shaped by customer feedback, which remains our priority here at edays. We listened to the needs and wants of our customers, and used it to continue driving our product offering forward.
These efforts make edays an easy, innovative and configurable software that can work in different ways, according your organisation’s size, location, industry and challenges surrounding workforce attendance management.
